Dear DACC Members, Sponsors and Friends.

At our last board meeting Charlotte Nytoft announced her decision to step down as Chairman and President. I want to thank her for her dedication and hard effort in running the DACC as Chairman over the last year. I am happy to announce that she is still an integral part of the board of directors and will be responsible for memberships and sponsorships going forth.

I was requested to assume the role as President and Chairman of the Board for the DACC, a request which I have accepted. I am honored to have been given the trust and commitment from the board of directors to lift the important assignment of leading the DACC, a beacon of Danish Culture, Business, and Unity.

As we speak, I am in the process of conducting my own review of the entire organization. Our volunteers, finances, events, missions, - where we are coming from and the strategic direction in which I will steer the organization.

Over the next 3 months you, our members, sponsors and stakeholders can expect clear, concise information, regarding upcoming events, our organizational progress and new initiatives from the DACC.

A brief personal intro: Michael Haagen Jensen. I am a native of Denmark, but have resided in the US for 5 years (4,5 years in Atlanta and 6 months in Miami). My specialty is growth and organizational development and I have been an integral part in the expansion and creation of several Danish and American firms.

I am also happy to announce that Jesper Sahlberg has assumed the role as secretary of our board. With the new director role of Secretary, Jesper will be a part of our important executive committee; an action oriented, operational organ of the board of directors.

We have many exciting things planned for the remainder of 2010. Our first executive business event at Nokia Siemens takes place on April 19th with 40+ confirmed CEO’s, VP’s and Business Owners. We have our signature Sct. Hans Celebration this summer and a selection of large and small scale social and business events. The DACC needs your continued support from sponsors, members and volunteers. Together we can work on a 2010 that will make 2009 pale in comparison.
